C.R. Avery is more slam poetry than hip hop but his one man live beat boxing/harmonica playing/poetry recital gigs have to be experienced to be believed. The vids on youtube don't really do them justice.

:lol: "slam poetry" yer you could call it that if you want.... but in general beatboxing goes hand in hand with hip-hop.
i have also seen one of his gigs.... in falmouth cornwall.... impressive stuff :)

Not me who calls it that guv'nor but the man himself and everyone else who is part of that particular scene....guess I should know better than try to be down wit da kidz. Although CR's no spring chicken himself. :lol:
