Looks lovely Jez, i used to have one in Gunmetal. Brilliant car, i miss it but it handled like the tourer it is but 60-140 was where it made it up.

Glad to find another Jap lover in here.

It's a 1985 m535i, factory body kit, aftermarket wheels [alas, no 'private' number plate]

Ha ha .... Twas a 535i I had myself and to be fair we only gave it the WRC treatment as it was a complete bucket of rust !! Once I had removed its plate it was just a toy for bashing up !!

A friend turned it over by reversing his hugely uprated Range Rover into it, then we handbrake turned it into a solid stack of hay a few times !! It was all very Dukes of Hazzard and I was 8 years the younger !! :)

[quote="doctor-bond"]Some nice stuff here: loving the Alfa and Saab's and the old Mercs; Soft spot for French old timers too.

Here's my daily driver for the last few years, but sadly now up for sale.

Must say that this is one of the nicest cars in the thread! don't see a lot of thoose anymore! early 80's bmw's are really nice! almost bought an old 728 from 84, the other month. Luckily it was on hold!!!
