I have a Tacx Swing , and it is really noisy . Kaiser suggested to do it in front of tv , but i have to put it really loud .

the tyres makes a noise but it is not too bad , but there is a whistling noise which is awfull . is there any maintenance I could do to it to stop it ?

and put your training tips here too .

i hae a very basic trainer , just got off it as it so happens

very noisy , but no more so than a hoover

slick tyre with lots of pressure and mines perched on a pile of towels as its upstairs

the whistling i guess could be the fan ( its what makes a noise on mine )

i just put up with it and the headaches

Dont think the swing has a fan does it? Don't think mine does. Mag only, and no cooling.

I have tried a few different slicks, and there is a huge difference in noise depneding on what tyre. Pro2 race was pretty quiet..
