 Post subject: Chicks dig scars....

Cross race today at the Lincolnshire Police Headquaters, nice and mild if a bit breezy.
There was a log obsticle which you could hop over, but it quicker to dismount and skip over it.1st lap, I was in about 8th place coming to the log when I came to hop off, my left foot stuck in the pedal and I kinda hit the log :(

Didnt hurt at the time, but bugger me did it sting when I got in the bath :cry:
Still came 10th even with a puncture for the last 5 laps.

Dont attempt to cover it ,allow it to dry and you'll be right as rain in a day or two.
Cover it and it'll stay open and take a week to heal.

You see you may laugh, but I actually spent all day in hospital yesterday and have subsequently had to have a major skin graft to cover the horrendous scars which would have resulted..........
