there was a bamboo bike in stw recently ,i think they may build bikes out of plastic ,well the bash gaurds on morden bikes are getting a lot more durable

I don't understand why carbon is fragile on bikes. I've seen a carbon bonnet that had been on a car that rolled and then slid down the road on the bonnet and roof . Ok it had a few scratches, but the rest of the car was wrecked.
