If it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing on the first day of our holiday in Dorset. Reversed into a tree stump mashing my back wheel
and colour coded bumper.
£45 for a back wheel to get me cycling again on holiday,
£90 for paint job on rear bumper, and the wife said camping would be a cheap holiday :?

ok folks, only the two pics i managed to take at the time. i think it was too upsetting to take one of the wheel!


first pic is the dreaded post with my little GT on its back in pain.

second is the damage to my car courtesy of the rear mech etc.

just managed to get a rear light cluster for the alfa for 10 quid delivered (cant argue there!)

just need a wheel and i'll be a bit happier.
