welcome, being a newcomer myself, I've found this forum very welcoming and informative - there's usually somebody who can answer any question very quickly!!
Is that Rusland, Lake District? If so I used to work at the mountain bike hire centre at Satterthwaite. I was there summer 95 (the hot one!) - one of the best jobs I ever had, bikes all hired out by 9am, didn't come back till 5pm, just read books/magazines all day in the sun!
