I can post some photos if it helps ...

We have had the mobility people in Basically I have got to some how sort a wheel chair route from our front drive ( gravel ) over the front lawn, round the side ( gravel ) onto the back lawn so we can have access to the back door?

Anyone in the trade or done it before for this sort of thing to advise?

I was actually thinking of trying to get some of them outdoor floor walkways that they have at weddings etc? as with winter coming the grass will soon become a problem.

Hmmmmm :?

If it's to be permanent then you can get a plastic product. It comes in 'slabs' and has a honeycomb shape. Grass (or gravel for that matter) grows through it but it creates a hard standing surface.
It's designed for vehicle access, so a wheelchair should cause no problems.

Can't think of the name of the stuff off hand, but I know a man who does.

Have a look here

http://www.rola-trac.co.uk/Rola-Trac.ht ... lAodBkJMFA

it sounds like the product you describe.

And they're based in the U.K.

I looks like the stuff you describe. I just did a quick search in Google.
If they only do big scale things, they should know of some other firms who do it on a small scale. Good start point for you though.
Hope it's helped :D

Try here: http://www.boddingtons-ltd.com/forestry/grass-protection-mesh.htm?gclid=CIHs3au0l5YCFQObFQodnTE35g

or here: http://www.boddingtons-ltd.com/civil/grass-paver-grid.htm

The second one is the stuff I've seen used before. It's very effective and virtually invisible once the grass has established itself.
