Right,

always been with the CTC as they had a lovely old school easy going approach and gave competitive rates and actually understood bikes could cost more than £1500.

Was all good.

About to renew and noticed a couple of blaring changes that make older bikes relatively pointless to insure. Such as, new for old now being up to 3 years old. So the depreciation factored in on even an '02 ti hardtail makes it pointless insuring it at the same premiun as before.

Such a shame as I've recommended them to people for nearly 10 years.

So, who are you with?

Some say M&S have good bike cover on their household contents ins.

Anyone else recommend any?

Thanks.

M&S all the way. Bikes automatically covered up to £3k each (unlisted), and coverage is worldwide and "all risks" - ie racing is covered if you take the (slightly) more expensive premium.

Yep, M&S. Thought the limit was £4k though.

My premium is significantly less than my old policy and covers considerably more.
