Me and my best mate have started an old skool jungle show on a local radio station in Poole and Bournemouth.
It's a mix of classic old tunes and us ripping the piss out of the day time dj's ;-)
If this is your bag then you can listen to our shows here, no mater where you live!

Any show that starts with this has my attention.

Re:

In my top 5 pieces of music ever made, of any genre.
Not ashamed to say it moved me to tears when I went to see Goldie with the Heritage Orchestra at South Bank a few years ago.
Stunning

Jungle was always a bit too dark for me so I went the Happy way after the split of the genres, but I do like DJ Rap and the Story of Kemistry is tragic, I think I read about her based on a link the Rap posted a while back. I still play a lot of breakbeat stuff at some of my gigs and my favourite speed skate tune (and gets requested by a lot of my customers now too) is:

I'll take a listen though as it's good to hear what other fans of the old scene are doing now.

I do record some of my sets, although I usually forget to start it and then play a blinder (well according to my customers as they always ask for links to set when I forget).

I'll do some shameless self promotion though so if anyone checks in and is a skater they can come skate and listen to some old skool while doing it!

Jungle is massive, booyaka booyaka!

Loved the raw early stuff , so strange to actually be there when something entirely new is born. Some belters out there from long ago.

Also loved the late 90's stuff too. It went well with my hard house addiction at the time

Alas just Horlicks and a bit of Max Bygraves on the Fidelity radiogram these days.

Oh and

Do you do requests/shout outs Mark ?

“#kin’ voodoo magic man!”

Of course! We're up against it with swearing, but have managed to avoid a telling off so far by being creative ;-)

I'll get this in for this weeks show!
