I have a digital piano with a floppy disc drive.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to change it to a usb drive ?
Thanks.
Jeff.

Re:

Depending on the piano you may have to replace the cable or faff with jumpers on the back of the USB Floppy emulator... some pianos and organs used slightly unconventional drives and / or cable pinouts.

A quick web search should tell you if that's likely to be the case though, hopefully you have a nice straightforward one...

Re:

Just got the new usb drive and it worked. The only thing with this is when you make a new song file you have to format every new file, but not a big issue.
Thanks for the help.
Jeff.

Re:

Excellent! I can recommend something like a Sandisk Cruzer Fit USB memory stick which hardly sticks out at all and won't get knocked sideways accidentally.

Glad you got it working, I actually have to install one for my brother some time soon on an organ (Yamaha EL-90 I think.)
