Prefer to lug a few kilo's of tools around myself, but my junior manager is leaving work soon and he has no tools...so he can't ponce mine all the time..thought I would buy him a multi-tool thing as a leaving pressie for all his late arrivals and general cavalier attitude work ethic.
What would be a good one to buy?
Cheers.

If it's gonna be used as both an on and off bike tool then only one comes to my mind which is up to being used in anger and that's the good old Cool Tool. You can get a crank extractor and even headset spanners as add ons for it as well as all of the more often used tools which come supplied.

see here at bottom of page: http://www.bikepro.com/products/chains/chaintools.html

also here (seems that maybe gerber have taken over making them?): http://www.epinions.com/bike-Components ... ol_CT41945

I use a Scott basic one , I have had it 15 years .

Re the chain tool , get a separate good one . you can always come home with a brake missing , not without a chain . ;)

Topeak Alien RX - solid build, reassuringly weighty and used the chain tool for the first time without any problems last Thursday
