Taking the dog on a ride, would you?

I went out on a group night ride last night. One rider thought it a good idea to bring his dog! Some sort of terrier.
What could possibly go wrong? Around thirty pairs of wheels. Well, nothing for around 300mtrs. Then someone ran into him. The ensuing crash messing up the blokes rear mech!

Would you? On your own, maybe. But in a group?

I think someone must have had a word, as they stayed nearer the back of the group for the rest of the ride

Idiot!

I am not surprised at all at the stupidity of people.

Mind you, there are some wonderful examples of dogs joining adventures with happy results..

No I wouldn't, if the dog is on a lead then I can't see it working very well and if the dog is not on a lead then it's not fair at junctions and such.
