no french car in the list ?? 
Guess being American most of that list is foreign to us in the UK, ie no Allegro, Marina etc.
Most cars are fine these days not like the terrible 70's but the worst car I can remember of recent times was a hired early Merc A class on holiday a few years back - frightening handling. :shock:

Maxi, Marina, in fact anything build by BL except the Mini and Rover 2000 and SD1 (and even that was defeat snatched from the jaws of victory by Soviet build quality)
Peugeot 307: ghastly build quality
Lancia Beta: rusted through in the showroom, engines fell out after 3 years
BMW 320d c.2003: engines usually blew up after 45k miles so the dealer told me haha flipping ha with a 5k bill. Not that I'm bitter.
Vauxhall Vectra: just horrid
plus almost anything American because they are usually meanly engineered costed-down rubbish.
