What other 'retro' stuff do you use....??

I ask as I've spent a couple of days working with my favourite tools (no, not you lot :LOL: ) - a proper old Yardley Of Stourbridge spade and fork. Then there's my Granddad's old ARP fire warden axe (with an adze like tool the other side) that sees regular use for pulling apart pallets and getting stumps out of the ground....nice bit of history but of very high personal value to me, obviously.

And I used to collect old fishing tackle, nothing better than catching a wild brownie on a split cane fly rod with a Hardy reel!! :D

Rather than looking through rose tinted spectacles I throw a pair of these onto my hung over eyes. I love to have old stuff around me, it is generally much nicer to feel and has a solidity that satisfies.
