recommend me a PC game

Ive avoided computer games as i know id spend too much time playing but i would like to exercise a dell gaming computer rescued from a skip.

So recommend me a game with amazing graphics for £10 or less.

Computer is 2008, quad processor, 4 gb ram, with nvidia card, NO network connectivity, mouse and keyboard as controller.

Bearing in mind my last dabblings was on a zx spectrum and later Doom/Quake in mid 90s so have little idea what genres are out there.

Probably adventure type, is the witcher that type? or car racing games, gta? or shoot em up e.g. call of duty?

Looking at something 5 yrs old as i doubt the pc & graphics will handle the latest games, plus must be in my £10 budget.

Far cry 2/3 should be able to buy either of them cheap now combines all 3 driving elements, searching for things, and shoot-em-up

Then id recommend something with an editor for creating your own battles and again I recommend Arma.
Make your own fun, when others start to get boring.
