This might sound like a bad idea but I am looking to occasionally move a tandem and already have a roof full of Thule 591 racks
The Thule is rated to 20kg (about the same as the tandem) and I would be strapping the rear wheel to a third roofbar with some triangulating webbing straps at the rear also for sideways and braking stability
