Made this for a chap in London who helps run 'moonpig.com' :shock:

Tamiya 1/48th Avro Lancaster.

A lot of work went into this monster which took four months to build.

when I was kid in the 80s I also build the Lancaster from Tamiya in 48 and as with all of my scale planes I hung it up on the ceiling of my room - man was it huge compared with some other 48 models

Shaun its not a pathfinder! The yellow fins was on all 218 'gold coast' squadron Lancaster's.

Richard the model is gone now but the wing span is about two feet, yes new camera but had it since last September.

The three 'coloured dots' are under the fuselage and are Identification lamps.

This gives the scale of the same kit but done as VRA which came over last year and Randy Straughan is signing my model of VeRA.
