Close call last night.I was cutting the lawn and foolishly didnt bring in our new dog thats on a temporary tether in the garden as he was sleeping.As sooon as I started cutting he ran behind me,the tether wrapped around the mower and flipped it onto my foot.I would have certainly lost most of my foot if it wasnt for the steel toe shoes I was wearing.The mower blade is totalled,testament to the strength of the steel toe.Check out the pic.Food for thought as you slip into your crocs/sandals to cut the lawn.

This time last year, while at my house, my brother in a moment of stupidity tried to pick up the lawn mower before it had stopped running.

It smashed the top off 3 fingers requiring 2 lots of surgery and week's off work. Plus ongoing pain.

I won't post the pictures this close to lunch time.

He's old enough to have known better., works with heavy machinery every day, and used to sell professional mowers.

Accidents happen, but please be careful in your garden guys and girls.
