Retro Newbie
Hi folks I've finally joined up to the site after years of just watching from afar. It's a great site to reminisce on all the bikes I loved growing up.
Hope this is ok (if not feel free to delete) but I'm the head mechanic at the Urban Cycle Center near Manchester and also help to run anot for profit bike recycling scheme where we take in unwanted bikes and our volunteers get them ready to go back out into the hills, this last year we have had around 3k bikes donated from various people/shops etc. A lot of the bikes are only scrap but we do get the odd gem through the door, i've recently taken in an Amp Research B4 that I'm looking to build back up, a 1987 Harry Hall with full Durace and a 97 Proflex Animal (she's almost finished and looking amazing). The bikes we can't do anything with we just strip for parts, frames etc meaning we do have quite a big selection of retro stuff knocking around if anyone is looking for anything specific for their builds we may beable to help you out.
Cheers
