Top Gear cycling in St Petersburg

Why laugh? Bit of a numpty though not avouding the tram tracks.

Was it just me or did anybody else think the saddle was too low on ths borrowed bike? I reckon that contributed to not winning the race.

Hammond is known to be a regular cyclist, especially in cities. He should know how to cross tram tracks. I reckon he did it on purpose.

There are few cities in the UK with trams. Thank goodness!

.. but there are quite a few that used to have trams and still have tracks !

Good point. One would be suspicious that things only happen in Top Gear universe according to the appalling script though; so at best it was a happy coincidence.

..and of course it was funny. It is always funny when someone crashes their bike, and remains intact.

Human nature.

I watched it online after reading this thread (gave up on TG a couple of years ago now), wasn't funny IMO.

Typing /drive into youtube brings up some real car videos.
