What a fantastic race! Best grand tour in years! Two days to go and three riders all within 20-odd seconds of each other. Not like the grand snore that le tour has become in the past few years (that'll be the tedious Texan's fault).

I do think the TT's retirement has brought a breath of life into the grand tour peletons... have you noticed how man riders are riding all three tours now? 6 Brits in the Giro who would have thought that? Two stage victories, two seconds for Cav and a fourth today for Cummings. British Cycling really is on the up, and not just on the track.

How many Brits riding le tour this year?
