GoPro footage: Tearing around the Highlands on the RSW

Old School Hero
Hi everyone, sorry if this isn't the right place, the bike is neither road, mtb or bmx, but it is retro  a 1973 Raleigh RSW 16 MK3 :)

Some GoPro footage I shot back in the summer, filmed in the Highlands of Scotland. I went for a ride at about 9pm, this is part of my journey home

Nice wee vid there mate! What GoPro model do you use? I wanted to buy a camera over Christmas but couldn't decide on make or model, so ended up with new SPD shoes instead! I see the new Hero range starts at £99...seems like a bargain to me.

Also, you didn't by any chance ride the Etape Caledonia last year (2014) on that bike, did you...?

Thanks very much man  I use the Hero3+ Black edition, I noticed on Amazon that the price could change drastically throughout the week, normally it was £360, I caught it as low as £282 once, and that's when I bought it :) Yeah I saw that too, thought it was perhaps some kind of crazy black Friday deal.

I'm afraid not as I haven't heard of that event, is it good? Did you see someone doing it on a blue RSW?

It was some kind of RSW/Moulton type bike, and it was blue! It was a long shot, but thought I'd ask! The Etape itself is a great event; 80-odd miles through Perthshire, amazing views, great atmosphere, etc, etc. But, for me, it is let down by the motives of the agency that organise it. Shame, because it really is a great day.

p.s. £70 this year

Nice, thanks for sharing.

Is there a thread for retro riding footage at all ?

Ah cool, that event looks and sounds like a lot of fun, shame about the entry costs :(

Thanks and no problem, I believe there are threads within the seperate road, mtb and bmx sub forums, but this bike doesn't come under any of those categories :/
