I always hire them because I hire a trailer for my youngest, and they'll only let you hire and use their trailers, with their own hire bikes.
First started going in 2006, and plenty of times since. When I first started going they hired out Dawes (chunky framed, aluminium) mountain bikes - albeit they're always the kind of entry level bikes from the makes they use (7 speed, Tourney shifters, single chainring).
Since I've noticed them using Haro, and I think most recently, Schwinn. I thought they used a particular make inbetween Dawes and Haro, but I'm not sure whether that's my failing memory, or not - anyone remember?
(I'm only really interested because I think I've forgotten, as opposed to really caring...)
