Whilst at Monday playgroup I overheard a couple of mum's saying '' yes little billy was very sick last night'' and clearly he dutifully passed this bug around.
Fast forward to Wednesday morning I'm absolutely knackered I have a crucial meeting and I'm totally drained literally, not a chance apologies sent.

Not for the first time lil'un and I have fallen foul of a virus ridden snot monster dragged to playschool when really they ought to be tucked up in bed due to a parent's belief that their child ''must socialise regardless of them being ill''

I can't be the only one that thinks '' if she's ill she stays at home'' ??

Selfish parent that wants to have the career and the little Johnny, but when the little Johnny gets ill, the career comes first and he gets shunted off to nursery or school regardless.

Give them dirt to eat occasionally. Better to have and share a few germs at that age than none.

or more likely a single parent trying to get by on min wage with a boss that couldn't care less

Yep, not everyone can afford to choose just to be a parent - I imagine most working parents do so because they have to, not because they want to.

It's a bummer when the kids get ill at school and pass it around at home, but it's just one of those things that comes with having kids. It all helps build their natural defences too

Give over, its about taking responsibility and making the sacrifice to look after your kids, not march off to work just because you want the two cars, holidays abroad and designer kitchen.

What pisses me off is the mumsie and daddies who expect the Government to provide subsidised childcare paid for by the tax payer.

Single parent?

Life is full of choices, but some folk make the wrong choice. Having children out of the security of family life is the wrong choice as your post proves.
