Small coupe with abillity to carry a bike.

Im toying with the idea of buying a cheap ish coupe/roadster for the summer, but would still like the abillity to occaisionally rack a bike on the back. Any one got any experience of carrying bikes on such vehicles?

Thinking along the lines of :
Audi TT
Toyota MR2
BMW Z3

any advice welcome.
