Something strange happened last night whilst bidding on an EBay item, I placed a second bid with 56seconds to go and an outbid notice was sent. For some reason my laptop keyboard seem to turn to treacle, all keystrokes were very very slow and I could not enter a new amount to win the item. Nothing I seemed to do would allow me to bid in the normal way and I did not win.
Sound like ‘sour grapes’, but the seller lost out as my bid was much higher than the winner!
This is not the first time this type of occurrence has happened, two weeks ago, I was bidding for a very similar item using my Tablet and again something strange happened, I place a bid with 45seconds to go and received an outbid notice, for some reason this time was no option anywhere to place another bid. Again the seller lost out!
Has anybody else suffered the same experience? All previous bidding has gone well without incident.
