hi
can anyone help me, i have to monitor my dog when i am out, i have an ocd neighbour who says he barks all the time, so I want to film and record him when i am not in.
my question is can i just get a web cam attach it to my comp and save the footage to the harddrive, will i need specialist software, it doesn't have to be high quality, just something i keep on file. any help will be gratefully recieved as i need to set this up for tomorrow evenings riding.

Hi,

If you are using XP, You can use windows Movie maker , which is a standard windows component. you can set file size and save location.
