How do I link to a post on here.

Do you see the 'note' style icon before "posted:" to the top right of a post. Might be orange or white.
Copy it's URL link (or open and then copy it's URL depending on browser options)

You mean the link just above i.e. the title of each individual post.
Oddly they give a different link. That gives a "forum/topic/post link"* and mine just give "post link".
Odd but they do do the same thing as far as I know. Though I think mine doesn't matter if the post has been moved from the forum or topic.
I've never tested on this forum to find out saying that.
Why PM an answer, mind boggles. It's a forum for a reason, it lets other read the answers and/or correct and enhance them.
*BUT sometimes it might give the shorter "post link" if you come in via a "post link" :facepalm:
