I am sure I saw him being interviewed about Saville back when that all broke.

Of course he may be perfectly innocent, but it seem that the BBC was a breeding ground for this kind of activity.

Who next?

It beggars belief.

As good an excuse we're going to get to disband the BBC. Or at the very least leave all presenting duties to Susanna Reid. I'd settle for that tbh.

Before everybody decides to pile in on the BBC and act like Daily Mail readers, as far as we know these incidents took place years ago, certainly well before the current management team was in place. It also looks certain that a certain female PM turned a blind eye and probably went as far as helping to cover up after Savile.
Do we think there's any large organisation in this country that can say it's 100% sure that none of its employees in the last 30 years have committed crimes of a sexual nature?

I have a feeling his alleged offences may involve the use of rent boys back in the day. Not unusual in London at the time for gay men.

Yeah? Really? How far back do you want to take the management? As has been proven, in court of law, it's been one cover-up after another after another, consistently. Even in-house flagship 'Panorama's' concerns were hoiked at eleventh hour in favour of a Savile eulogy. Even back in the 1940's abuse was recognised within the BBC. There's no doubt there's been long-term, systemic, organisationally-enabled paedophiliac abuse.

You might do better to avail yourself of the unfolding evidence before committing to such ill-informed ignorance.

Cheers, thanks for the advice. Wrong but thanks.

Do we think that's relevant to the massive abuse scandal and subsequent cover up at the publicly funded BBC?
