I wouldn't say no to a bit of mud - did 2 back-to-back cyclo-cross races this weekend which were bone-dry making the ground rock hard not to mention a bit sketchy in the corners. Although unlike the one on Saturday where I had multiple "offs", at least I managed not to crash in yesterday's event!

This sums up my weekend's racing to a T:

The mudder people take a tractor and water bowser to muddy the track, fine if you are taking part, not so fine if you are cycling on the same trails.

But i did see a dead baby kangaroo/wallaby on the one nr henly a few months back.

..... went for a walk round the same area and got a lift to the carpark by an nzlander. Told us there is a swiss financier who owns a large area of land including villages!!! and has a private zoo thay has emus, deer and kangaroos, so mystery solved.
