Morning all,

I was playing with my CD;'s this morning and remembered this -

The original - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQTq88Ie5sU

The cover - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flMS2gHFOH0

The original brings back memories of being under 8 - the cover, memories of cheap beer and teenageness!!

Have a great weekend all - i suppose Happy Halloween too!!!!

Richard

If you want cover versions look at Tori Amos.

On just one tour (I can not remember which off the top of my head) she did two covers each night by artists from the city. And that was the whole world tour!

They included Oasis, Bon Jovi and George Micheal. Every gig was then released as a CD.

My own personal cover favourites by her include I'm On Fire (Springsteen), Losing My Religion, Only Women Bleed (Alice Cooper), Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Strange Little Girls (The Stranglers) and Reigning Blood (Slayer!):

There is also a studio recorded covers album titled Strange Little Girl including the Slayer track, plus The Beatles, Eminem and Lloyd Cole amongst others.

It is the Sisters of Mercy - you had me doubting myself!!! Coincidently, I have their albums beside me - bound to the iPod shortly. I do love coincidence.
