They are persistent that's for sure have had about 5 today, went onto my PayPal account they have some good info on there advising on spam emails.

The most obvious thing, apart from what common sense tells you, is the fact the paypal page they want you to login to has a url like ip-number/paypal.html or I have seen url's like used.

I used to get these constantly. paypal, orange, banks. sure fire giveaway is the vagueness of their greeting (e.g. dear paypal user ) the real one always uses your name. at one point I was getting 8 a day from different ones. strange thing is half the companies they were 'apparently' from I wasnt even a customer of. :roll:

plus Im pretty sure paypal dont use a gmail address with some weird foreign name.
