Been working for an agency, got offered a job for two days with them saying if the job is completed in one day would be paid for two, work 8 till 5 on the Thursday, ment to have been 7.50 a hour, contacted the agency again and they said that we will be paid for sixteen hours, checked my pay for today and only been paid £40 (about. 4.50 a hour for one day) what should I do, have anothe colleague to back me up who I was working with and got told the same story

Get back to the agency with your colleague,
Hopefully they will still honour their agreement.
Problem being, if there was no written agreement, you only have an oral contract.
If the agency are good you should have no problems getting what's owed to you.
But in future get it in writing.
