so a hypothetical situation may or may not have arisen. lets say that someone was growing and selling weed in a house and someone else knew about it (well the whole bleeding street knows about it, probably)
now lets say that this someone was a complete and utter waste of oxygen and does feck all, day except smoke/sell and breaks into cars for nicking.
lets say that this someone had to move from their last town because of the breaking into cars ect bad rep blah blah blah.
and lets say when someone did say something to them, that night they had their car windows smashed in
so the question is...
a. should a legal pursuant of the said scrote be followed i.e. a word with the dibble (which has already been done) by someone else but to no avail.
b. a trip in the back of a transit to a woods somewhere to teach them a lesson.
c. ignore the whole thing and hope it never affects me.
of course this information is only umm... research for a computer game im thinking about writing.
thanks in advance.

If it's for a computer game, I'd go full GTA. Run them over twice and unload all ammo you have in their faces. Then throw a Molotov cocktail through the windows

I would burn their house down if it was in my street. Simple IED with timer. The smell would be great! But you can't smell a game

But why say something to them? Tip off the local plod/council/dss/eho and anybody else you can think of..

If plod thinks there's a chance of an easy lift caught bang to rights after a bit of fun with a W they'll be up for it. Offer your 'virtual' place as a OP.

This is a tricky one. Alas, I'm not running the Government so the he old lunch in the kidneys previously dished out by beat bobbies of old is probably not the way forward.

I would suggest that the best outcome of this scenario would be for Johnny Scumbag to get potted for a few years. This being the case, if I were an observer I would quietly keep the local dibble up to date with a..much Intel's possible, comings an goings, vehicle registrations. Intel like that can be used for anything from an ASBO application to supporting an application to a magistrate for a warrant.

Thing is, these chumps are pretty low down the food chain. The real bad boys, the scary ones, the ones with the brains to match the muscles, they're the ones you don't want to cross. Now, speaking hypothetically for the purposes of a book plot I'm considering, if an observer were friendly with such level 3 criminals they could perhaps ask them to pay the chap a visit and have a quiet chat over a cuppa and a cucumber sandwich, explain the niceties of polite behaviour. Bin my policing career I've encountered decreasing examples where more business like criminals have given such lifestyle lessening young scripted, and upon their rehabilitation most have gone on to lead much quieter lives.

I'd tell the plod but do it discretely.
Lad I know had the misfortune to date a lass who ex fella was a dealer.
One night coming out the pub on his own he was jumped by said dealer and few of his crew.
Metal plate in the head, dislocated shoulder and various cuts and bruises.
That was 3 years ago and my mate still takes tablets everyday as he gets headaches from the plate in his head.

So be careful.

Not sure if there's any truth to this but a few years ago a rumour was doing the rounds that a local scrote was selling substances to school children on Hayling Island (near Portsmouth), a few civic minded individuals decided to take matters into their own hands and escorted the young man to the bridge connecting the island to the mainland pulled his trousers down and attached a length of string to an area of his body and then threw a breeze block attached to the other end of the string over the railings of the bridge.

I heard a tale of something similar near here, where a local low level drug dealing Scumbag was abducted by a few of the local Phil Mitchell types, taken to a local gay meeting spot, and tied to a tree and left there naked from the waist down.

I don't think he was molested, but I understand it felt like and awfully long night for him and soon after he vanished (as in moved away, not as in went swimming in concrete wellies).

The 2 large gentlemen responsible are not the sort you'd mess with and I suspect in their younger days were quite formidable, but seem content to keep their heads down if left alone, which is fine by me. Unfortunately, the younger generation sometimes need a lesson in reality before they learn that one.
