Adopted a new dog just over a week ago. A much smarter than I had hoped for 1 year old Shepherd. She's settling in well, so I figured it was time for her to figure out what all these funny contraptions hanging/lying about the house and garage were all about. Took her out for her first ride today. She picked it up right off the bat, and loves running through the woods at full speed. Best part is, the trails around my house are in a half dozen protected areas on the Niagara escarpment (designated World Biosphere area), and there's dozens of streams/waterfalls running down from the ridge, so I don't need to carry water for her. We just stop at all the stream crossings for a hydration break.
That is ace.. I think dogs thrive in the outdoors. What a life
