At the moment we have separate accounts, there is generally nothing in mine, but if Dom has agreed to any purchase he can transfer the money into my account, like recently buying my youngest daughter her birthday pressies. So it's almost impossible for me to buy anything without him knowing, when we had a joint account Dom was always getting surprises and having to cook the books :D
