swap the red and yellow leads? red is usually battery and yellow is usually ignition. Fiat swap these around for their own head units

ive tried it both ways.what happened was i got hold of a lp mini disc version this morning and thought...same connectors ...then no worries...unplugged the nice one i got from thee and plugged the other in.pushing it back in it turned off and made a beepy noise most make when the power is stopped.now none work...grrrrrrr.ive checked the live perm and switch live and the earth and they are fine.the cables are good and all the fuses are fine..im utterly confused .com.
