Bit too much negativity at the moment - what great sayings and catch phrases make you feel fuzzy inside...

"That's the badger!" - Someone's done something good

"The cat's pyjamas" - The thought of a cat in stripy night wear always makes me smile...

A similar saying I always used to here, when I was youngster working with a big mainframe - "That's the jasper!"

At school we called Wasps, Jaspers. "Careful" we would say "Here comes a Jasper" as one would fly through the window (happy days)

When something needs to be done with speed and aggression, generally involving something stubborn and a hammer, the phrase "kill mr. fan!" is used by me and my friends, no one can remember why though!

Not a warm and fuzzy phrase, but I found 'hit it and make it's arse hole pout' quite amusing

'If you don't behave I'll paste ya clock'
A fave from my nan when I was a nipper.
A slap across the (clock) face with a side to side motion as a pasting brush.

Imagine these spoken in a south-walian accent:

"I'll be there now in a minute"
"Good night alive!"
"Crikey moses!"

:D

"I'll give that a coat o' lookin' at" (Northern accent please), as in I shall give that due consideration.
