Ooh, can you tell me please, what is the difference between a sofa and a setee?

Thanks.

Do you sell a sofa with a built in lavatory so I can safely s**t myself when watching a horror film on TV?

I don't think, in terms of how the thing looks or functions, there is a difference. I suspect the variation in names might depend where you live and your background (certainly, it's always been a "settee" in my family, but apparently a "sofa" amongst my mostly rather posher acquaintances from University days). :?

Edit - sure enough, it's partly a class thing:

This thread reads a bit odd. There was one of the typical spam threads about sofa sales so I thought I would get a bit of expert knowledge as it were. The OP was deleted leaving my rather eccentric sounding random question.
