Recently got a new laptop.
I've downloaded iTunes, but is there an easy way to move my library over?
It's on the old laptop and on my iPod and iTouch, but they never make it easy do they?

Anyone help, in really basic, non-geek, computer illiterate (ie me) friendly language?

Also, PhotoScape doesn't seem to want to download without a number of suspicious add-ons - any tips?

Copy your iTunes music folder onto an external hard drive and then just paste them in the folder on the new machine.

Remove iTunes first! If you dont, iTunes may accidentally wipe your iPod

Plug in iPod - it will be seen as an external HDD.

Drag the entire contents to a folder.

Install iTunes, register etc.

Open iTunes and iPod contents folder, drag and drop music files into iTunes.

Takes a while depending on how much music you have.

Plus, if you run a Samsung/ Sony phartsmone, you can drag iTunes content straight over without any fuss. I havent tried this with other makes.

I used ifunbox to transfer the music from my current itouch to me new pc, worked fine and was free
