I was in the same boat as you, a few tools I needed that wern't urgent but I would always look out for in any shop I wen in but I could never find them.
I had a recent trip to Chicago, popped into a bike shop for a nosey when I had some spare time and I came out with a few tools that I'd never managed to find in the UK shops, including a rather nice headset spanner and a park tool pin spanner.
