Before, during or after?
my mrs is cabin crew and i can tell you this, they definitely do not hold their farts in when they're up in the air. apparently the sound of the engines makes it quite easy to release the build up of gas discreetly.
whether or not they smell worse, i don't know. but i can say that beans (at the moment) for my [pregnant] mrs, makes my eyes water....

My mrs can 'drop her guts' like a man, no girly bottom fluffs in our house. They stink.
