I'd imagine this might have been flagged up here before but the website 28dayslater dedicated to urban exploration is well worth checking out > http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/

Basically they go into disused building, structures etc and take pics. Make for some strong and evocative images. Not sure as to the legality of it but heh.

That looks awesome! I would be very tempted to find something close to home and do something similar. At entirely my own risk, of course.

I am in Surrey if anyone fancies doing this and has some ideas of where we could go

There's usually plenty about, once you 'get your eye on' as it were, you spot plenty ;) It's a fun way to pass the time, and gives you a whole new perspective on places...

I've been a member on 28DL and DP for a good few years...

As above, ive been to a few local places, underground railway tunnels, some old Hull nightclubs, but as my sister is in the force, i have to behave myself somewhat, if i got caught breaking/entering/tresspassing, it could cause her problems

But also been a long standing lurking member on 28dl for a while, can lose hours on that site!

Btw Chris, im 99% certain that OT and a few of the other big posters/staff from 28dl are actually local boys!

Member on there and derp. Used to be absolutely loads of great sites on my doorstep but regeneration schemes are putting paid to that.
