Dinosaur jr, one of my favourite bands, and one of the best cover versions ever!

Arab Strap - Philiphobia.

Probably the most miserable album ever, but I absolutely love the honesty of Aiden Moffats lyrics.

Because I can sit through days of Zeppelin and I will never hear enough.

The Boatman's Call - Nick Cave
Difficult to pick an album, his lyrics blow me away.

Radiohead - King of Limbs
Coldplay should listen to Radiohead and realise they should give it up.

The Small Faces - Ogdens Nut Gone Flake
Because Steve Marriot is just an awesome singer

Steve Marriot - THE most awesome vocalist. Great album too. Did you know Spike Milligan refused to do the narrated pieces. I can listen to Happy days Toytown on repeat - SO 1960s.

All your choices are great BTW.

The Orb 'adventures beyond the ultraworld'. Listened from start to finish yesterday for the first time in years, still sounds fantastic.

Retro-ambience is the future man!

I saw the Orb a couple of times in the mid nineties, the first time they brought their own soundsystem and it was amazing. Sound travelling about the hall, kinda like dolby 5.1 on super steriods :) this along with the Barra's dancefloor being able to bounce made it a classic gig!

Ah, Yes. I have recently rediscovered one of my favourite albums from way back when. I consider it the magnum opus of the ambient dance genre; KLF's Chill Out

Not to mention the sheep remind me of home .
