Trying to find the best outlet for selling off the collection motor books , models and prints and memorabilia that myself and dad collected over the years normally ebay does the trick but it just dont seem to happen with books.

The books are out of print /leather bound collector type stuff

The prints are big limited numbered large mounted with photos of drivers signing etc from Nicolas watts

Did think of Amazon but unless I read it wrong you have to pay £25 a month and 15% commission!!

Did think auctions maybe?

Any thoughts?

Cheers

daj

Have you thought about contacting some of the more 'specialist' (fnar fnar yack yack!!) motoring magazines like Octane or Autosport for maybe advertising something in there?

If you want them to be appreciated, owners clubs or forum might be your best bet? nobody seems to like books anymore :( (We're about to shelve 2 whole walls in the study for our book collection - hope that's enough!)

Drop me a line with what you have Daj. I have a mate who has hundreds of car books, prints and models. He may well be interested.

I just typed "automobile models" into Google Images, and this is the first pic I got (below).

If that's what you meant by automobile models, then I'm definitely interested.
