As above :)

Long story but our horse is in a stable where there seems to be a black hole for mobile coverage apart from Tesco / 02

Just looking for a cheap mobile with a touch screen to stick in a Tesco sim so we can keep in touch by text with the stable..

Cheers

Shaun

Have you tried Tesco, you can pic a phone up for around £10, nothing fancy but it makes calls & texts

I can see why you want a touch screen, but even then it will have to be a huge one unless your horses have very small toes.

In my, admitedly limited, experience, the old style "ordinary" phones with buttons generally get much better reception than smart phones.

I'd go for the tesco simple jobs for the price. But hit eBay and argos etc outlets on there. Canpick up a San franciscoii and then root it and you'll have a nice android phone for anything but games.

I have a Motorola Razr V3 which is about 8 years old which will work but being born in the 1950's mean that pressing all those buttons kills me LOL

Will have a trawl about for cheap touch screen :D

Brand new should mean more reliable than used and the battery won't need replacing soon

http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-mobil ... d=542-5010

only thing is being left in the stables it will need a dame good place for storage to stop the damp getting in
