I'm not a CX rider, but this is just about typical for Bristol City Council.

Interesting Bristol council pushed hard for funding under the title of a "cycling city" which they gained and still have that title. in fact this year they received 5 million just for projects which included cycle ways as a cycling city

Strangely, the one thing I remember from my last visit to Bristol was how difficult it was to safely maneuver my car around the cyclists riding through the city centre area. Maybe they were still building the cycle routes then, I dunno....

Bristol City Council are a joke, as is the cycle city thing.

The year Bristol were granted cycle city status, South Gloucestershire spent about four times more on cycle routes.

Goodness knows what Bristol are doing with all that money.
