i dont think phono can be split to vga

vga is video only and phono is video/audio

when i used my xbox 360 on an old projector i had to buy the madcats vga cable

that was about 6 years ago so dont know if they still sell them

the inlaws are gonna give us their flat screen, so should be ok. Looks like we would have had to get a tv card for the pc for it to work.

Depends what input you Monitor has.

The Wii has 3 methods over here.

- (A/V) Supplied cable (yellow/red/green iirc) that can go Phono and Video in. But usually used with the SCART black that usually comes with it. (but not the same as a scart lead on its own)

- (SVIDEO) like above but SVIDEO plug instead of VIDEO

- (SCART) Straight to SCART lead (RGB) next best setup

- (Component Cable), the best setup and you can run the Wii at it's best quality 60p. Don't cost a lot on ebay either. Red/White/Green/Blue/Red plugs yes two reds
