I have had worse seven hours...

Brilliant display of team spirit, and a fitting tribute to Seve.

Simply astounding year for British sport, given the team involved.

Wow.

I don't even like golf!

Astonishing, just as I typed that we won instead of retaining with a draw. Amazing bottle from all the team.

I think a few of the lads on the team may have been a little bit not british.

Nevertheless I understand what you are saying.

watching yesterday, i thought we would end up struggling to make 11 points.

to see the emotion these guys put in is really inspiring - i thought lawrie might really struggle today but he was awesome. mcdowell was well off form for the entire 3 days and cost us points, likewise with westwood (with the exception of today) and some of the yanks looked like they were in a rhythm that wouldn't (or couldn't) be broken.

hopefully this won't do the same for golf as the olympics did for cycling though, decent tee times are hard enough to get sometimes on the pay and plays near me as it is!!!
